Nigel started his accounting career in 2000 in local accounting firms around Ballarat.

Prior to this Nigel had management roles with Woolworths and a major role with Coca Cola vending in outer suburban and regional areas. This gave him experience across a broad field of areas, including preparation of financial and management accounts, compliance and budgets. By far one of his greatest assets is his diverse experience. Nigel recognises how effective businesses operate and can advise on all areas whether it be accounting, taxation, start-ups, structuring, business review, acquisitions or sales. His interpersonal relationships are what he thrives on, especially building business & long term relationships with clients.

SANDRA KNIGHT - B.Bus CPA.  Senior Accountant

Sandra is one of our Senior Accountants and is celebrating her 10th year with the Sertori & Co. Sandra has previously worked for an accounting firm in Ballarat and at Telstra as a management accountant. Sandra’s experience gives her the ability to understand individual circumstances, however complex and deliver a common sense and easy to understand solution. Sandra specialises in business accounting and compliance, and is the firms go-to person with all accounting software questions.

AMY LEWIS - Accountant

I finished my Bachelor of Commerce in March 2015 and begun working with Sertori & Co in October 2015 after getting married and moving to Stawell.

 

Prior to working at Sertori I worked in an accounting firm in Ballarat as a tax accountant. I love travelling & holidays, spending time with family and cooking!

 

Also spending time with my husband Simon.

PATRICIA MILLS - Assistant Accountant

Trish originally has a background in psych nursing and came to Sertori & Co from the RSL as the Gaming & TAB manager, having been responsible for balancing the accounts. She was accountable to auditors and has a lot of experience with compliance, budgets and forecasting. She has a keen eye for inconsistencies and very thorough in her preparation of both Individual and business tax returns. Trish has been at Sertori & Co for over 3 years now and handles all our ASIC compliance.

ROMY ROUTLEY - Administration

Romy joined the team at Sertori and Co. in April 2017  as our friendly Receptionist in both our Ararat & Stawell offices. She previously spent over  8 years in Real Estate, specialising in Property Management, giving her invaluable experience in dealing with client relations and a wide range of administrative functions.

 

Romy provides administrative support to our Accounting team and is committed to providing high levels of customer satisfaction with her outgoing and bubbly personality. In her spare time, Romy likes to spend time with her friends and family and getting out and about in the community.
